Afrikan Djeli Cultural Center

We are re-organizing...

After nearly 8 years of on-going activities and programs, Afrikan Djeli has temporarily closed its
West End Location. Part of the reason for this is the ever-increasing cost of the space on
Abernathy. Another reason is the impact of the economy on the participation in our classes and
space rental. We did not want to continue paying rent and investing in a space that was not
community owned. Our classes have relocated.
In January 2010, we plan on embarking upon a major capital campaign. The main goal of this is
to secure a space. We hope that you will be able to participate in this campaign.
